Went for a walk with Gwen, a nice loop around Lawrenny. Strange to think this was once a really busy industrial landscape.

12th June

Started drawing out Black Mixen from Lawrenny, some charcoal but mainly graphite & pencil. Planning colour strategy – Thick mixed darks (Ultramarine, raw umber, crimson & violet) – Mixed greens warm to fore – Pastel shades for distance.
