Monday 14th March

Went for a walk after work and noticed a freshly laid hedge. Started painting when I got home. A notan exercise with underpainting with waste paint. Worked really well and should dry quickly, will see what it is like to over paint.

Wednesday 16th March

A nice pastoral scene that probably hasn’t changed in hundreds of years. Got a lot of colour in to this one. Enjoying the looseness of getting away from ‘pretty’ pictures. Maybe more of me in them.
