Amazing Dynamos away day. Llangadog – Tregaron – Llyn Brianne – Llandovery. A big pull over the Cambrian mountains but fantastic. Started drawing out Llyn Brianne when I got home. Pondering colour strategy. Pale into distance, Ultramarine is probably best for cloud although maybe a bit purple. Rust in foreground could be good, reflections important in lake, need to concentrate on notan values.

Tuesday 3rd May

First session on Llyn Brianne painting quickly with big brush avoiding obvious colour choices. Next step to tighten up with more prudent use of colour. Enjoyable first session though.
