Went for a walk up through Colby and down to Amroth with Gwen. When I got home drew out an oak in the lane above the Amroth Arms in graphite and white spirit. Need to devise a colour strategy before I dive in tomorrow.

1st August

Started adding paint to ‘Oak Above Amroth Arms’. Split primary palette, challenge will be to get a balance between detail & reduction to create depth.
