Friday 14th January

Driving home from work in Aberystwyth took some sunset photos at Thomas Evan Nicholas 1879-1971 Memorial Stone. A lovely winters day.

Sunday 16th January

Started drawing out Preseli sunset in charcoal and water (new discovery).

Rule #1 Painting must capture a moment in time.

Rule #2 Landscape painting must usually include a road/path or river to signify the journey.

Rule #3 Paint light.

Rule #4 Do not draw with paint. Paint with paint.

Monday 17th January

So much charcoal was not a good idea as it picks up the paint.
