Sunday 6th February

Started painting Ysgol Hill sunset. After a slow start simplified the colours and concentrated on complementaries. Trying to use less white. Need to work out greens. Used Cadmium Orange and Cobalt Violet for the first time.

Monday 7th February

More painting on Ysgol Hill. Painting light, avoiding adding white, playing with saturated colour, complementaries, split complementaries and triads. It’s a nice effect with the deep perspective.
